FROM POINTS NORTH (BOSTON / PROVIDENCE)
Take route I-95 SOUTH into Connecticut. About 15 miles past the R.I./C.T. line, cross over the Gold Star Memorial Bridge into New London. Take the SECOND EXIT, Exit #83, marked "Frontage Road, Shopping Malls". This is a service road which runs parallel to the highway. Take the FIRST EXIT off Frontage Road after the sign that says "COAST GUARD ACADEMY"(the exit will be marked "BRIGGS STREET"). At the end of the exit, TURN LEFT. Go to the second set of traffic lights. Just past this second set of lights is the main gate to the Academy on the RIGHT.

FROM POINTS SOUTH (NEW YORK / NEW HAVEN)
Take I-95 NORTH to Exit #82A, marked "FRONTAGE ROAD, SHOPPING MALLS". This is a service road which runs parallel to I-95. Stay on the Frontage Road until you come to a sign which reads"COAST GUARD ACADEMY NEXT RIGHT". The exit is marked for BRIGGS STREET. At the light at the end of the exit, TURN LEFT. Go through three sets of traffic lights. Just past the THIRD set of lights the main gate to the Academy is on the RIGHT. NOTE: Depending on the time of day you are arriving, any of the sets of lights may be either timed or flashing.

FROM HARTFORD, CT
Take ROUTE 2 to ROUTE 395 SOUTH. From 395 get off on EXIT 78, marked "CONN 32 NEW LONDON"(left side exit). Go about 2 miles until it merges with ROUTE 32 SOUTH. Approximately 2 miles further you will pass the Coast Guard Academy on the left and Connecticut College on your right. Take the FIRST EXIT past the Coast Guard Academy, marked "ROUTE 95 SOUTH, NEW HAVEN". At the STOP SIGN at the end of the exit TURN RIGHT. Go to the next STOP SIGN and TURN RIGHT again. Go to the next set of traffic lights and TURN LEFT. The main gate to the Academy is on the RIGHT.

FROM WORCESTER, MA
Take ROUTE 290 SOUTH to ROUTE 395 SOUTH into Connecticut. From 395 get off on Exit 78 marked "CONN 32 NEW LONDON"(left side exit). Go about 2 miles until it mergers with ROUTE 32 SOUTH. Approximately 2 miles further you will pass the Coast Guard Academy on the left and Connecticut College will be on the right. Take the FIRST EXIT past the Coast Guard Academy, marked "ROUTE 95 SOUTH, NEW HAVEN". At the STOP SIGN at the end of the exit TURN RIGHT. Go to the next STOP SIGN and TURN RIGHT again. Go to the next set of traffic lights and TURN LEFT. The main gate to the Academy is on the RIGHT.
