Apple has been catering to students from campuses around the world for years, and students agree that owning a Mac computer unquestionably improves their experience at school. Apple boasts that owning a Mac “makes the best years of your life even better,” and for many good reasons. High school and college students alike find that owning a Mac computer optimizes their experience at the learning institution they attend. The following discussion centers on some of the reasons for which Macs improve the learning experience.

1. Macs are well designed and engineered. More than most other demographics, students use their notebook computers on the go. Students are many times required to travel between several different classroom settings a day, and they need a notebook computer that can withstand these demands. The MacBook Pro is the best all around notebook computer when it comes to portability and durability. The new MacBook Pro is designed to be both thinner and lighter than older models, and it easily slips into a backpack or bag. And its unibody design provides students with the most durable notebook on the market.

2. Macs come bundled with all of the software students require. Succeeding in school these days requires the assistance of a wide variety of technological tools, and all of these tools come ready for students on every MacBook, right out of the box. From the moment students purchase a new MacBook, it is ready for every task that students are confronted with.

3. MacBooks make communicating with other students a cinch. Most educational curriculums are designed to incorporate group learning. MacBooks are ideal for group projects for several reasons. From the moment a MacBook comes out of the box, it is ready for email and video chat. Wherever a student is located, he or she has ready access to other students via a built in web-cam. Connecting with teachers and other students has never before been so easy.

student4. Organizing media on a MacBook is simple to do. It is no secret that many students look back on their education as some of the greatest years of their life. Students are able to capture these memories on photo and video and store and organize them on their MacBook with ease. MacBooks are equipped with the most intuitive software available for organizing and sharing videos and photos, so students are sure to have a way to capture their favorite memories.

5. Windows programs are compatible with MacBooks. Sometimes educators require assignments to be submitted in a Word document. Apple recognizes this and offers Windows for Mac to eliminate the risk of being without the capacity to do so. With Windows for Mac, students can have all of the advantages of an Apple computer and still submit a document in whatever format the professor requires.

While these five reasons certainly provide substantial justification as to why Macs are the best computers for students, the list could go on indefinitely. Students need a computer they can count on, and Macs provide just that.
