The iPod has gotten smaller and now offers more features than before. Tiny iPods are great for people who like to listen to music while they are on the go. It’s common for people to clip an iPod onto their workout gear and listen to their favorite tunes while working out in a gym or running.

The newest versions are controlled with touch technology and are smaller and lighter than the previous versions. Users can simply touch the machine to view a play list and see artist information.  The images on the screen can also be rotated around and users can use their fingers to change the position of the icons on the screen. Furthermore, multiple lists of items can be stored, because users can simply swipe the screen to switch screens, similar to flipping through the pages of a book. These tiny devices can also store photos, so carrying them around is like having a digital album of friends, and family members at your fingertips . To listen to the music on a car stereo, simply plug the iPod into the device. Your music can also be heard in full stereo sound by plugging the Nano into a home stereo.

There are several types of iPods available, and people should select the right type for them, depending on their style. The iPod shuffle is the smallest of the iPods, and unlike the Nano it has buttons, rather than a touch screen. Since owners can’t see the name of the song and the artist, this device announces this information. People can use the iPods with the shuffle version to listen to music, podcast entertainment or books. Nanos are bigger than the shuffle with touch screens. People who own these devices can listen to the radio on them in addition to listening to music that they upload. Exercise enthusiasts can also use the built-in pedometer, according to the Apple website.
