Babson College Captures Men's Soccer Championship
Babson defeats MIT in the NEWMAC Championship game at MIT, earning the automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament. (more)


Springfield Upsets Undefeated Coast Guard in NEWMAC Volleyball Championship Game

The fifth game featured 13 ties and Coast Guard led 14-13 with match point, but Springfield rallied back to force their own match point but the Bears fought it off to tie the match 15-15 and then get the final two points
to win its second straight NEWMAC Tournament Championship. (more)

MIT Returns to Finals for Sixth Straight Year
Wellesley College finished their undefeated fall campaign in sparkling fashion, capturing the NEWMAC women's tennis title with a 5-0 win over MIT on Sunday, and a 5-1 victory over Babson College on Saturday. (more)

Smith's Anna Crary named NCAA Woman of the Year for Massachusetts
Anna Crary, a 2004 graduate of Smith College, has been named the 2004 NCAA Women of the Year for Massachusetts. This prestigious award honors outstanding female athletes who have excelled in academics, athletics, community leadership and have completed their collegiate athletics eligibility. (more)
