MIT and Wellesley Advance to Finals of NEWMAC Women's Tennis Championship

SOUTH HADLEY, MA -- #1 seed MIT and #3 seed Wellesley will fight for the NEWMAC Women's Tennis Championship title tomorrow after defeating their respective opponents in the semifinals today. This year's championship, which is a team format as opposed to a flighted tournament, is being held at Mount Holyoke College, October 26-27. The quarterfinal and semifinal matches were played to decision, not completion, as the weather forced the championship indoors. The championship match between MIT and Wellesley will be played at 11 A.M. tomorrow.
