Worcester, MA - Clark University Athletic Director Linda Moulton recently announced the hiring of Dalya Qualls as Clark’s full-time Sports Information Director. Qualls replaces Head Women’s Soccer Coach and current Sports Information Director Joe Brady. Brady, who has served as the Sports Information Director for the last five years, will continue to direct the women’s soccer program at Clark and assume administrative responsibilities as well as serve as Intramural Director.

“We are very pleased and excited that Dalya will be joining our department,” commented Moulton. “She brings solid experience and unqualified enthusiasm to her position and will be a wonderful addition to the Clark community. I know that our staff and student-athletes will enjoy working with her. We all look forward to the contributions she will make in a variety of areas throughout the University.”

Prior to joining Clark, Qualls worked as an Assistant SID at Keene (N.H.) State College for the past three years. She was a product of the NCAA Division III Ethnic/Women’s Minority Internship grant. During her tenure at KSC, Qualls helped promote and publicize the Owls’ 16 varsity sports. Her accomplishments include implementation of Stat Crew software for eight sports and the creation of Little East Conference tournament programs.

“I am honored to have been chosen as Clark’s full-time Sports Information Director,” Qualls said. “I have been working diligently to prepare myself for this opportunity, and am confident that I will be successful here.”

A native of Belleville, Ill., Qualls has previously interned with the St. Louis Sports Commission and the St. Louis University Billiken media relations staff. Qualls graduated from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2000. She recently completed her Master’s Degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in Mass Communications (2005).
