There is wide range of Apple products, perfectly designed for just about every occasion. And for just about every need that consumers may have, there is a corresponding Apple product to meet that need. One way to get a glimpse of all that Apple offers is by looking at Apple products by size. Apple products range from the size of a finger on up, and each of these products have their unique advantages. Before reading ahead, test your Apple loyalty by seeing if you can name all of Apple’s products from smallest to largest.

The iPod Shuffle: The Shuffle is touted as the world’s smallest music player, but its size is in no way a reflection of its capacity. The Shuffle is easy to use, and works well for those looking to put a soundtrack to their exercise regimen. The Shuffle comes in a 2GB and a 4GB model, for $59 and $79, respectively.

The iPod Nano: The Nano is a step up from the Shuffle, and it provides substantially more features. To begin with, unlike the Shuffle, the Nano has a display that has recently been upgraded to 2.2 inches. Moreover, the Nano is equipped with a video recorder, a camera and a radio receiver with pause/playback capabilities. The Nano comes in an 8GB and a 16GB model, at $149 and $179, respectively.

The iPod Classic: This iPod is all about storage space, as it comes standard with 160GB of memory. It is somewhat larger than the Nano, but also comes with a much larger screen, which works well for video and television show playback. The iPod Classic comes in black and white, and can be purchased for $249.

The iPod Touch: The iPod Touch is the first iPod to introduce touch screen technology. The Touch doubles as a personal computer, as it connects to the Web wherever there is Wi-Fi connectivity. The Touch works well for listening to music, playing games, sending emails and browsing the Web.

The iPhone: The iPhone does everything that the Touch does, plus more. In addition to playing music and providing access to the Web, the iPhone – as the name suitably indicates – is also a smart phone. Furthermore, the iPhone comes standard with a built in camera and video recorder. One noteworthy feature about the new iPhone is that it serves as a videophone.

The iPad: The iPad is something like the iPod Touch, only bigger. The iPad is Apple’s answer to tablet computers, and they provide users with a large, fully functional touch screen. The iPad can be used for playing games, watching movies or television shows, listening to music and browsing the Web. While it was called a luxury item by many, the iPad is achieving great success in markets around the globe.

The MacBook: The MacBook is Apple’s base level computer, but it provides consumers with everything they could ask for. At just under a thousand dollars, the MacBook is the most cost-effective computer of its kind.

The MacBook Pro: The MacBook Pro is Apple’s higher-end notebook computer. It is available in 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch models, starting at $1,199. Many regard the MacBook Pro as the best notebook computer on the market.
